This resort is at Amba, in Kolhapur district, State of Maharashtra, INDIA. It is situated on the tip of the Western Ghat mountain ranges, on the highway from Kolhapur to Ratnagiri, near a little dense forest and few lakes. It is about 2500 feet from sea level, so the climate is cooler and more crisp than the coastal Goa region.

By road it takes 5 hours from Goa, and about 7 hours from Mumbai.

	It is a serene, quiet place.

There are no shopping bazzars, no video game arcades, and no crowded beaches with hawkers or fast food joints.

Cellphone range only for BSNL and Reliance; and medium speed internet connection available at cost within Resort compound.

But no TV in any room. However, for important events, we do organize a large screen LCD screen in the Games area.
